Ministry of Commerce: After RCEP takes effect, 88% of products exported from China to Japan will enjoy zero-tariff treatment

On January 1, 2022, the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) signed by China, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and 10 ASEAN countries officially entered into force, which is by far the largest free trade in the world. The agreement will be more effective between the two countries that previously had higher tariffs.
