What is Solenoid Control Valve?

A solenoid control valve is a type of valve that is controlled by an electric solenoid. It consists of a solenoid coil, a plunger, and a valve body. When an electric current is applied to the solenoid coil, it creates a magnetic field that moves the plunger, allowing or blocking the flow of fluid through the valve body.

Solenoid control VALVES are commonly used in various industries and applications, such as in fluid power systems, irrigation systems, automotive systems, and industrial processes. They are known for their quick response time, precise control, and ability to operate remotely through electrical signals.

These valves can be normally closed (NC), meaning the flow is blocked when the solenoid is not energized, or normally open (NO), meaning the flow is allowed when the solenoid is not energized. They can also be direct-acting or pilot-operated, depending on the design and application requirements.
